Is Santa bringing a drone to you or a loved one for Christmas? We get it, drones are fun, but keep in mind, national parks are off limits to drone use.
From noise and nuisance complaints from park visitors, safety concerns, and wildlife harassment, drones can negatively affect the experience for many visitors.
So, come visit your national parks, but leave the drone at home, or in the car, and enjoy the sounds of nature rather than the whirring of a drone! #NoDroneZone Explore Nature #FindYourPark ... See MoreSee Less

Check out the final product of our first orthoimagery project. We had the chance to fly 148 acres on the South Fork of the Smith River and provided the client with marketing for their property as well as imagery that will help in future developments. These images are an “orthomosiac” of this property, meaning they are true and correct to time and location. This information will aid the landowner in planning new developments, recreations improvements, restoration projects and much more. ... See MoreSee Less
Had a chance to go hear the story of Dan Phillips of Bridgeville. His talk was titled "Humboldt to Hulu" and it detailed his journey from a small town in Humboldt to the CTO of Hulu and how to be a leader in tech.
His talk was very encouraging and inspiring. Dan preached building and maintaining relationships, the importance of the team and having the right team, the importance of networking and taking chances...needless to say I learned a lot.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Had the chance to attend a forestry GIS work shop put on by the UC cooperative extension and IGIS at Humboldt State University.
It was a great intro to using ArcGIS pro and many other options that will improve our remote sensing and mapping services.
We highly recommend this class to any one looking to further their GIS knowledge!

A sneak peek at a recent job we did on the South Fork of the Smith River. This is our first orthoimagery project in which we will be able to provide the landowner with specific planning data for future development. Stay tuned for the final output and more exciting projects to come!

Took a quick trip to Sacramento for the North Region Procurement fair that was hosted by Cal Trans. We had the opportunity to mingle with over 25 different California agencies and heard nothing but positive encouragement and some amazing opportunities for the future.
Stay tuned for some upcoming projects!
